What the GTH means to a Seller!
The Global
Trading Hub is unique from other B2B Sites, Market Places
or Exchange models in many ways. One of the many unique characteristics
of the GTH is that it is a "Market Maker" for the
Product you want to trade, what do we mean by Market Maker?
When you list your Products to sell on the GTH, the Global
Trade Search engine, an exclusive, proprietary and copy righted
software of GTH, searches and locates the Market and Buyer
to trade on the GTH. Once located and qualified, GTH communicates
with the Buyer(s) and offers the Product you have for sale.
We are not interested in our Trading Members to just simply
list their products on our Trading Hub and wait for someone
to eventually view the Product, like most trading sites. We
aggressively go out into the market and sell your Product.
The GTH
Marketing Specialist is Pro-Active in selling your Product
in the International Markets. With the help of the Global
Trade Search engine, they locate and invite potential Buyers
to participate in the Trading System your Product is trading
in and guides the Buyer to place a BID on your Product. We
take an active role in actually selling your Product and not
simply providing you with the Systems to trade with. By taking
an active role in Selling your Product, you can be assured

Trading
Systems
Not all
products can be sold in one standard format. Whether you are
a Buyer or Seller, GTH has developed several trading systems
to provide our Trading Members the flexibility to trade their
products on the GTH Trading Floor tailored to their specific
needs. Our strategy and trading systems allows the Trading
Member to access multiple markets in several different formats,
to achieve maximum market penetration and our multiple systems
of product trading through the GTH provide for seamless market
coverage of buyers from virtually every major market around
the world. Below is a brief description of each Trading System
so you can choose which one is right for you and will yield
the greatest benefit.
Top
BUYER
AUCTIONS
Buyers
always want and require market transparency. They want no
surprises in purchasing a product or service. The GTH can
give the buyer that much wanted; Price, Supplier, Availability
and Product transparency. The GTH can lower the cost of discovery
for buyers looking for new suppliers, products or availability
alternatives.
Buyers can make purchases or post requests
and find what they are looking for, at the most competitive
price. Buyer Auctions provide buyers with more choices and
more control over their online trading process. The Buyer
benefits from the lower costs he can obtain on a particular
product and schedule his future buying needs.
Declining
Price Auctions
Buyers requests
products or services for purchase, sellers are notified to
bid against other sellers of the same product. The price decreases
incrementally depending on the duration of the Auction. Multiple
Buyers can participate and may purchase the item at any time
during the bidding process. The Buyer does not have to wait
until the lowest price to confirm a purchase or amount.
Declining Price Auctions is a revolutionary
format where buyers and sellers meet, and the market determines
the value of the goods. It is a faster, easier, more cost
effective way to trade. Auctions end the moment there is a
committed buyer - either through an instant purchase or a
sealed bid.
Open RFP; (Request
for Products)
The GTH
has structured an Auction process initiated by a single Buyer
in search of specific products he requires. The Buyer will
post an "Request For Product" (RFP). The RFP will
provide the type of product required, specifications, delivery,
etc. A predetermined time will be scheduled for the Suppliers
of that product to post their best "BID" against
other Suppliers. In this scenario, the lowest "BIDDER"
will win the Auction and sell the product to the Buyer.
Sealed RFP; (Request
for Products)
The Sealed
RFP is very similar to the Open RFP, with the exception that
bidders place confidential bids one time, so that no bidder
knows what the others have Bid, encouraging bidders to make
their best offer first.

SELLER
AUCTIONS
Seller
Auctions will allow Sellers to sell more products, expand
their market share and discover new Buyers at much lower costs
as compared to traditional marketing. Sellers will be able
to receive a better price for their products when multiple
Buyers are bidding, which causes market demand for your product.
English Auction
The English
Auction System, is whereby a product is introduced listing
its specifications, quantity, availability, initial price
and location. The minimum price that is acceptable to the
Seller is electronically entered into the system. When the
electronic Auction process begins, Buyers bid up the price
until the highest bidder wins the Auction. English Auctions
are designed for one bidder to Buy the entire offer.
Dutch Auction
Dutch Auctions
is similar to the English Auction, except that multiple Buyers
can purchase the product at the same price once it is established
by a winning bid. The Seller can post a "Reserve Price",
the minimum price he is willing to sell that particular Product.
This type of Auction is appropriate when the Seller has an
abundance of one particular Product and requires multiple
Buyers to buy the Product.
Sealed Bids
Bidders
are given a single opportunity to bid on the product and in
a single winner format, the highest bidder wins. In its multiple
winner format, two kinds of bidding are supported; bidders
specify the quantity they desire at a single price, or they
submit a bid schedule by specifying a list of price/quantity
bids (e.g. "I'll take 100 cases at $25 each, or 200 cases
at $15 each, or 300 cases at $10 each, etc."), and our
system's algorithms optimize the allocation.

FIX
PRICE TRADING SYSTEM
The Fix
Price System is a secure environment on which to list and
buy standard products at fixed prices. Any Trading Member
can place products to sell on a "Fix Price" basis
under this format. Product items may be linked from the Members
eSales (Catalog) system, see below. The Buyer can purchase
a particular product outright or he may request a lower price
from the Seller (Negotiate option). The Seller has the right
to accept, refuse or counter offer. This is a straight negotiation
between Buyers and Sellers through the Fix Price System.
eSales (Catalogs)
eSales
is a Catalog format whereby Companies can place all of their
Products for sale in an organized and structured format. eSales
allows suppliers to present their corporate image, products
and brands to the global markets. This custom designed "Virtual
Store" give companies maximum exposure as well as e-commerce
capabilities. eSales may contain corporate information, product
descriptions, product availability, new products, product
images and prices. It will produce the RFQ's, invoice, logistics
information and payment options, a complete trading system.
The eSales can be linked to the Fix Price System or Auction
section for product sale or simply can be an advertisement
to promote the corporate image.

GTH
Virtual Sales and Marketing (VSM)
The GTH
Virtual Sales and Marketing (VSM) is a step beyond the eSales.
While the eSales focuses on selling the Trading Members Products
and provides corporate exposure, the VSM is focused on actively
promoting the Corporate image, establishing new markets and
facilitating sales. The VSM program takes the Company and
actually promotes and markets it on a global basis, to establish
brand awareness. This program is pro-active and promotes the
small to mid-sized Companies, and assists in acquiring the
exposure and connections needed for valuable business opportunities,
not only to sell products, but also to acquire financing,
partners, joint ventures, etc. VSM provides the companies
with a "virtual sales office", and brings them global
exposure.
To
eProcurement
eProcurement
allows food companies to streamline its purchase activities
when sourcing for new products, suppliers, or with established
customers. It has been independently proven that eProcurement
will save time and money. You can save up to 80% of the time
involved in sourcing your product, 40% - 60% on procurement
costs and between 5% - 10% on direct product costs. eProcurement
can be linked with the Fix Price System or any of the Auction
methods. With the efficiency and savings that eProcurement
provides, your company can increase its market share over
your competitors.

Barter
System
Sometimes
there is a need to enter into a barter for goods and services.
Our Barter System can manage complex Cross Border bartering
negotiations. It will manage the complete bartering process
from product specifications, matching, costs variations, settlement,
logistical movement and other requirements needed by each
party involved. Our Bartering System will be available in
1Qt., 2003.
Group
Purchase (GP)
To help
meet the needs of the small and medium sized company to save
money on Products they purchase, whether inputs for the producer
or prime materials for a processing company, volume purchasing
and savings can be accomplished with Group Purchase. A Trading
Member can establish a Group Purchase File (GPF) for a particular
product. Among the information the Member will place is product
specification, amount of product required, payment option
and delivery point. The Trading Member can establish the GP
to be private (opened to specific Trading Members he designates)
or public (opened to every Trading Member on the GTH). Once
all the details are established, the GP engine will automatically
send out an invitation for other Trading Members to participate
in that particular group. Invited Trading Members will go
into the specific GPF and submit the information required
and the amount of that particular Product he wishes to purchase
as part of that group, and so on with each Trading Member
until a "Total" amount is reached.
Once this
phase is accomplished, the GPF will go to the Trading Floor
to trade on a Fix Price or Buyers Auction format. Sellers
will be automatically notified of the GP and asked to participate
in the Fix Price or Buyers Auction. Besides the Private or
Public GP, the Trading Member can establish the GP for just
national participation or regional, close proximity to its
primary destination point. The GP System will handle multiple
funds collection, consolidation and payment, as well as the
Logistical and Transportation requirements to point of delivery
and/or individual product delivery.

Group Sales
(GS)
Group Sales
is a response to the needs of small companies to unit in Selling
"same product" (example; oranges) or "various
products" in the same category, (example; oranges, limes,
apples, pineapple, etc.) in volume to large Buyers. In Developing
Countries, a producer may have a quality Product for sale
and when a Buyer is interested he normally requests large
volumes that the producer may not be able to provide. With
GS, the Trading Member can establish a Group Sales File (GSF)
and similar to the GP (above), the Trading Member will place
the product specification, amount of product available, payment
method, etc.. As with the GP, the Trading Member can establish
the GS to be private (opened to specific Trading Members he
designates) or public (opened to every Trading Member on the
GTH). Once all the details are established, the GS engine
will automatically send out an invitation for other Trading
Members to participate in the that particular group. Invited
Trading Members will go into the specific GSF and submit the
information required and the amount of that particular Product
he wishes to sell as part of that group, and so on with each
Trading Member until a "Total" amount is reached.
Once the GSF is completed, it will go
to the Trading Floor to trade in a Fix Price or Sellers Auction
format. Buyers will be automatically notified of the GS and
asked to participate in the Fix Price or Sellers Auction.
Besides the Private or Public GS, the Trading Member can establish
the GS for just national participation or regional, close
proximity to its primary origination point. The GS System
will handle multiple funds payment, as well as the Logistical
and Transportation requirements to point of delivery.

Clearinghouse
The Clearinghouse
will settle all trades for the Trading Members of GTH. The
Clearinghouse will receive and hold in custody (at a major
Global Financial Institution), all payment guarantees and
funds from the Buyer and/or Seller, when applicable. The Clearinghouse
will act as facilitator for the payment and upon receiving
notice from the Logistic partner that the merchandise has
been delivered and complied with as agreed between the Buyer
and Seller, the Clearinghouse issues payment instructions
to our Global Payment Facilitator to immediately credit the
Seller's account.
The Clearinghouse
provides the Settlement and Payment process for GTH and its
mission is to provide a business-to-business e-commerce infrastructure
that enables Buyers and Sellers of the GTH to conduct and
settle international trade transactions securely over the
Internet. By aggregating Buyers, Sellers and recognized Payment
Service Providers, our system automates and streamlines the
trade payment processes between Trading Members, which are
complex, paper-based, time-consuming and expensive.
The objectives
of the Clearinghouse is to provide a cost effective, reliable,
secure and user-friendly solution for conducting and settling
international trade transactions. Finding a Buyer and a Seller
to each take one end of a transaction is one thing, negotiating
through the intricacies of international trade is quite a
different matter. Payment options, bonding requirements, product
inspection, shipping procedures and legal documentation all
can be difficult and intimidating obstacles - and all can
be deal breakers. That is why the GTH has assembled a nucleus
of financial and trade experts capable and experienced of
directing the Trading Members through the maze of potential
obstacles to allow for a successful, completed transactions
through the GTH.

Logistics
and Transportation
The Logistics
function is the last cycle in international trade and the
most important cycle. If anything goes wrong; missed shipping
schedule, wrong documentation, improper inspection, and any
of numerous other possibilities, serious problems arises.
The Seller will not get paid and the Buyer may miss distribution
or production deadlines, among other situations that will
certainly arise.
The mission of the Logistics and Transportation
Department is to provide a business-to-business e-commerce
infrastructure that enables Trading Members of the GTH to
conduct all the logistical requirements securely online. By
aggregating Logistical Service Providers, our system automates
and streamlines the logistical processes between the Logistics
Service Providers and the Trading Member, which are complex,
paper-based, time-consuming and expensive. The objective of
the Logistical System is to provide a cost effective, reliable,
secure and user-friendly solution for processing the Logistical
and Transportation requirements of our Trading Members.

Trade Finance
Another program
designed to directly stimulate buying and selling activity
on the GTH is the "Trade Financing Program", made
available through Financial Partners of the GTH. The purpose
of this program is to assist Trading Members with the funding
and technical expertise necessary to complete their end of
the buy/sell Agreement.

Financing for
the Agricultural Sectors
Banks are weary
of financing the agricultural sectors due to the apparent
risks involved. With this in mind, we set out to structure
an innovative format to allow the Banks to be able to finance
the agricultural and food industry with a controlled, calculated
and trackable risk factor. It was the ingenuity of our financial
experts working with international financial institutions
that allowed us to develop the required structure and mechanism
to lower the high risk factors associated with financing the
agricultural and food industry.
This innovative
financing mechanism will be available to those Trading Members
who commit to trade their product production and acquisition
on the GTH. This service will be available fourth quarter
2002.
Production Financing
Program
One of the services
provided by our Alliance Network is "Production Financing
and Export Credit", which is available to qualified producers
and food traders. This capital may be used to purchase raw
materials and other products and services to assist in increasing
the production capability.
This unique funding
mechanism is reserved exclusively for those Trading Members
who commit to trade their product production and acquisition
on the GTH. This service will be available fourth quarter
2002.
